Day 320

Hello!
I know, I know. It’s been too long! I’ve missed you too! Today’s post will be about some of the things I’m still working on.  Like going to the movies (#100) … Last time I’d only been twice, but now I’ve been 4 times already! I’ve seen Bridget Jones Baby (Such a funny movie!) A friend of mine and I got tickets for our birthday (we celebrated it together) and decided we’d go see this one. She hasn’t seen the first 2, but liked it never the less. The 4th movie on my list is Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them. I loved it! First of all because it’s set in the wizarding world, but it’s also a movie you can watch without ever having seen the Harry Potter movies (I know! How could you not have seen them…. but there are still people out there who haven’t!) I loved Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander, it was easy to like the character the way he played it. And there were some really funny bits also. I won’t tell which scene I liked best, that would be a spoiler. You just have to go and see the movie for yourself.
Another one I’ve started is #50, go to 5 concerts. I’ve been to 2 festivals this year but no concerts. Until last month.. VolBeat was finally back in Europe and we saw them at the ziggo dome in Amsterdam. And we already have tickets to see them next year! I can’t wait! We’re also planning to see Blackberry Smoke again next year. So this one is almost finished.
I haven’t been that good to keep up with sending postcards through postcrossing, but I’m planning on taking it up again. I’ve only sent 2 so far, and I wanted to send at least 10. So only 8 to go…
As I’ve told before I’ve started a Bullet Journal, and I love it! It really helps me to keep track of my daily to do lists (especially since I love crossing things of my list) Since a Bullet Journal let’s you add pages as you see fit It really gives you the freedom to organize as you wish. To keep track of all these things I’ve made a tracker page. It’s really simple but it seems that’s the way to go for me. As you can see in the picture below I still have a lot to do.

It also helps me to plan all of these things I want do do for my 1001 days challenge, It’s a constant reminder when I write in it. And it’s really easy to plan ahead this way.  Next step is to plan in my blog posts so I’ll keep you guys updated more frequently.

Bullet Journal

Hello,
A few weeks ago I started a bullet journal. I read a lot about it on Pinterest and really liked this way of keeping organized.  At first I thought I would keep my private and challenge pages separated. But I quickly found out I didn’t like that at all. So I ripped out most of the pages (sounds really dramatic but it were just 5 or 6 pages) and I started again. The way I use it now is really simple and it seems to work for me. That´s what I like about a bullet journal, you can use it the way you like and it doesn’t have to be perfect.
I have my monthly or future log in the back of my journal. This is a left over from my first try and it made sense to me to keep it that way. Out of the way but easy to find. I didn’t draw all of these myself, only the first 3 months. For the rest I used a printable calendar I really liked. There are lots to choose from if you use Google or Pinterest to search for them. I simply used washi tape on the side to show which year the months are in.

I use weekly pages and daily pages both.

Both of them are really simple and inspired
by all of the other ones I found while looking
on Pinterest. I’m pretty sure these pages are going to change along the way. It all depends on what I like to keep track off and what works or doesn’t work for me. For now.. This works..

I also use my Bullet Journal to write down the things I’m working on for my 1001 days Challenge. Keeping track of things is a lot easier when written down instead of trying to remember them.
I’ve also found it’s keeping me motivated to do the things I write on my to do lists. I just love crossing things off my list. Don’t you?
I also love sitting down each evening and going over my day and prepare the next day.
So far I love my Bullet Journal, and I’m really excited to see How organized my Life Will be from now on.. hihi.. okay maybe not my Life but at least my appointments and to do lists Will be.
Do you use a Bullet Journal? What kind of lists do you have?
